The Vatican actually uses its wealth for preaching the word of God to help guide people. It funds people who help guide others into a life of responsibility and love. I suspect you want to replace Obama in its place. Obama's Inauguration costed 160 million dollars. That's $ 160,000,000 just to proclaim to the world that he won.

Somebody has to come up with money to purchase the real estate, or art works, or whatever. Then that money has to purchase food from farms, orchards, etc. Since there is not enough food to go around, a sudden influx of cash in search of food just bumps up the price so much that those who can manage to buy food now won't be able to buy anymore. More starving people is the only possible result of such an idiotic plan. Somebody knows diddly-poo about psychology, economics, resource management, and more. Think things through! The Number One cause of poverty is people producing children they cannot or will not support. Pass out the birth control! Encourage people to wait until they are capable of feeding, housing, clothing, educating, etc, before they go making another mouth to feed. The vatican has been extremely remiss in encouraging personal responsibility.
