Sex abuse scandals in the Roman Catholic Church are proof that that "the Devil is at work inside the Vatican", according to the Holy See's chief exorcist. Father Gabriele Amorth, 85, who has been the Vatican's chief exorcist for 25 years and says he has dealt with 70,000 cases of demonic possession, said that the consequences of satanic infiltration included power struggles at the Vatican as well as "cardinals who do not believe in Jesus, and bishops who are linked to the Demon". He added: "When one speaks of 'the smoke of Satan' [a phrase coined by Pope Paul VI in 1972] in the holy rooms, it is all true รข€“ including these latest stories of violence and paedophilia." He claimed that another example of satanic behaviour was the Vatican "cover-up" over the deaths in 1998 of Alois Estermann, the then commander of the Swiss Guard, his wife and Corporal Cedric Tornay, a Swiss Guard, who were all found shot dead. I do not believe there are demons in the vatican. Unless of course they are there in the minds of people there. In people's minds are where demons dwell!

The devil attacks what is good...he does not attack what is bad. The devil is looking to bring down the church so that all believers lose hope. That has been his objective for many years.

Satan's chief target is the Catholic Church because it is the true Church that Jesus founded. Satan attacks the Church in many ways, through lies, scandals, slander, temptation of its priests and infiltration by its enemies who seek to damage it from within. Another example of Satan working against the Church is in the way the popular media highlights and emphasises any problems to do with the Catholic Church far more than they do with any other denomination or religion.

The beast (Roman Catholic Church) was given authority from the dragon (satan). Read Revelation 13. Read Revelation 17. Those who say the Roman Catholic Church is the true church, please wake up from your sleep. Open you spiritual eyes and see the paganism inside the church, it is not from Jesus Christ.
