Do you think that the Vatican is experiencing a recession like the rest of the world

Do you think that the Vatican is experiencing a recession like the rest of the world?
The Vatican has it's own money, so I'm trying to figure out how does it fair in comparison to the rest of the world concerning our recent recession? Does their money revolve around the Euro? Edit: Economically speaking how does it work for the Vatican? Are they self sustaining?

If the US is experiencing economic hardships, then the Vatican is as well.

Of course not; the Vatican sells the most profitable and recession-proof merchandise--->beliefs

Vatican is supposed to follow christ, who was a mendican and usually mendicants will never face any recession; so Vatican never felt the recession because the poor people of the world, the real followers of christ never felt any recession and will never feel any recession in future also. Of course superrich people only feel recession whereas the vast majority of people, who live below povery line never feel any economic difficulty because they never had enough money to eat a meal per day.

I don't think so. They just jacked their prices to the Vatican Museum up to 14 Euro per person, 18 Euro if you want a reservation without waiting in line...multiply that by 3 million visitors a year...not bad hey?

Vatican has insulation from recession.
