People of All beliefs: what would be the best cause to dedicate the rest of my life to

People of All beliefs: what would be the best cause to dedicate the rest of my life to?
I am 31 and not yet married. What do you suggest? How could I leave the world a better place? Fly a plane into a tower? Missionary? Bomb the Vatican? Work to feed the hungry? Stay in the Western world, become rich and donate lots of money??? Please state your belief and your opinion on this. Blessings David PLEASE STATE your faith as well.

God has put the desire for him in the hearts every man..fill that desire and God will tell you what to dedicate your life to I'm Christian
2 :
This may sound stupid, but you should dedicate to yourself by making yourself happy, do whatever you like to do, as long as you don't hurt anybody.
3 :
Keep it simple, just treat others with respect and dignity.
4 :
You should dedicate yourself to serving me.
5 :
That answer would be truly up to you. But to leave this world a BETTER place you would have to to something "Positive" with YOUR life! Just what is it that YOU could accomplish with your life that would benefit mankind the most. What I would or could do is for me to do. But you must answer your own question! Try living for Christ first... everything else will just fall into place after that.

love, accept the love that God gave by offering his son and then you will be filled with the same love to give to others , so every day you can change and affect your world around you.

Believe it or not, money is not the root of all evil. Ignorance is. IMO, you should dedicate the rest of your life to both gaining and giving the gift of knowledge. I am Gnostic.

Well, honestly the get rich and donate lots of money is pretty much the best option. If you can make a fortune like Bill Gates or Warren Buffett and donate it to some charitable cause you can easily exceed the aggregate good you could perform if you went to Africa and started digging wells or distributing condoms right now and continued for the rest of your life. Clearly, you have more value in some fields than others - all you have to do is find those fields, convert your time to money, then give that money to the charity of your choice. And, of course, if your goal is to fly a plane into a building you could probably fly it into a much taller building at the end of your life than you could today (and probably you'd hire the pilots).

I have no belief but I'm not an atheist either. Feeding the hungry is the best thing I can think of.
12 :
I'd go with the "Work to feed the hungry", bit, as that's one of the main "greater causes" I'd feel drawn towards, but that's just a personal thing really. It's entirely possible that you'd be too uncomfortable around the homeless or those in foreign countries that most need the help to do all that much good, which is a perfectly valid reason not to do that kind of stuff. My suggestion to be along the "Listen to God and see what he tells you." line of thought. I may personally contend that any answer you receive from God will be from within a part of yourself, but what does that matter?... There's any number of things one can do to make the world a better place though, if you're inclined towards the sciences, that would be one definite route, enhancing human knowledge, if you have some service you're particularly good at, stick with that, provide it humbly at prices not above what you really need, the minor convenience will ultimately be helping people. The only serious option I'd recommend against would be wealth, regardless of it is obtained with the goal of charity or not, too many things tend to be inadvertently harmed in the quest for wealth to justify its pursuit.

Study and dedicate yourself to Jehovah God and then you will beable to tell people what the future of mankind is going to be. So next time they come knocking at your door give it the benifit of the doubt and listen to what they have to say. It won't cost you anything but a little time and you will lern more in that little time that you have learned in a lfe time. And ask as many questions that you can think of. They will tell you the truth even though the truth hurts sometimes, and you won't be living a life of lies and decete. Sincerely yours, Fred M. Hunter fmhguitars@yahoo.com

I am a practicing Polythesist, Witch, and Goddess-worshiper. I believe in love unto all things (includeing yourself). I do not believe that you will find what you seek from without, if you cannot find it within. I believe you should do as your heart says. If you get that warm fuzzy glow from helping the needed then go for it! If running, biking, swimming, or playing video games does it, then do it!! Enjoy each minute you have on this planet, because in the end, there never seems to have been enough.

I remember a saying that went something like this: When I was a child I wanted to change the world; when I grew older and realized I could not do that I decided just to change my nation; When I became an adult I decided I can only change my city; When I got old I decided just to settle for my family; When I was very old I realized that I could only change myself. And when I changed myself for the better I also changed my family and then my city, then my nation and then the world. The point is that you should work to make yourself a better person. If that means helping other people then that is what you should do. In the end you might just make the world better. as for my religion: I am Jewish.

I believe you should follow the example of Yhshua I am a true Christian YHWH (Jehovah in English) has given humankind 6,000 years to figure out that he *can not* rule himself. He has provided His only-begotten son Yhshua (Jesus in English) as an example of how to do His will. The first humans chose self-rule and ever since that day, things have gone from bad to worse. There are very few people who have used their free-will to be "no part of this world" of politics, nationalism, hate, prejudice and war (Matthew 7:13, 14) but as few as there are, the number is increasing rapidly and there is a very comforting thought in 2 Peter 3:9 and Isaiah 48:18. Therefore, the choice is the same as it always has been; choose self-rule (politics, nationalism, war) or choose God's rule (peace, unity, love) Evolutionist conjecture states that all matter just happened to at some point in time pop out of nowhere with no explanation. Then that matter that unexplainably came from nowhere exploded and became the universe and then life just all of the sudden popped up with no explanation; you call that science? I call it conjecture. There is no more scientific proof for evolutionist conjecture than there is for God (though I will say that every house has a builder and so does the universe) so, in the end it still comes down to the choices presented in the Bible: Self rule (politics, division, hate, greed, war) Gods rule (Jesus as Jehovah's appointed King, unity, love, compassion, peace) I put faith in that which God has inspired men to write in the Bible, namely that if you choose His rule, he will restore His original purpose for the earth and mankind, namely the paradise and eternal life that the first humans lost when they chose self-rule, and he will restore it *before* man finishes destroying the environment, which I believe scientists estimate will reach the 'point of no return' by 2050 at the present rate of destruction (not to forget that hate-filled radicals are likely going to create a nuclear arsenal and use it before 2050) so thanx but no thanx, I'll choose Gods rule (Jesus as Jehovah's appointed King, unity, love, compassion, peace) Humans were given the free will to choose. Every human has a choice. they can choose to continue to be part of this worlds self-rule politics, which fruitage can be charted and observed over the past 6,000 years or they can choose to follow the direction of His son whom He sent to show us the way and who repeatedly warned us to be "no part of this world" of human self-rule To reiterate; the entire Bible message really comes down to this Self rule (politics, division, hate, greed, war) Gods rule (Jesus as Jehovah's appointed King, unity, love, compassion, peace) when those in charge of the self-rule of mankind soon bring us to the brink of inevitable extinction through poisoning the environment and nuclear war, it will be too late to change your choice. One must choose before that moment is upon us. Jehovah will step in at the last moment, before those who choose self-rule destroy the planet, having given every human every possible moment to make up his or her mind. Which choice will you have made? Free will and choice. Choose self-rule and get the fruits of self-rule (death by ecological and/or nuclear self-destruction if God does not stop it) or choose not to have anything to do with this world of human self-rule politics and put your trust in Christ's Father Jehovah and live under His world government when His "Kingdom comes on earth as it is in heaven" meaning a restoration of the paradise and eternal life that the first humans threw away when they chose self-rule. If you support self-rule human politics you have set yourself up in opposition to God's rule (Daniel 2:44; James 4:4) every human is given the free will to choose his own future. I'd love to see everyone choose God's government and follow the loving teachings of Christ, which would render all politicians unemployed, all nations obsolete and all hatred and wars extinct but that is coming very soon; in fact it will come immediately before mankind renders the earth a ruin. When do scientists predict the ecological point of no return? Is it 2050??? Most likely, a radical like Hitler will build a nuclear arsenal and bring the world to the brink of a nuclear holocaust before 2050. Therefore, barring an unforeseen fatal accident, I will live to see God install His Kingdom! I am glad I stopped believing in and supporting the failed system of man's self-rule/politics years ago However, this brings up a point: does the creator of anything have the right to eradicate that which he has created when it serves no redeeming function? I know if I created something that did not function the way I created it to function and I could not find any good use for it, I would not keep it around just because my neighbor thought I did not have a right to get rid of it! Please consider the following 3 passages before passing judgment against the Creator; Genesis 18:22-33 Jonah chapter 3 2 Peter 3:9 Allow me to clarify that my love for Jehovah drives me to tell you what the Bible message about the beautiful future of humankind is and to try my best to follow the example of His son Jesus. I am happy to answer questions from the Bible based on my thorough study of it and of all the major philosophies & religions of man. If you ask me what is to become of anyone on the last day of this age of self-rule when Jehovah installs His global government with Jesus as the appointed King, I can not tell you because only Jesus has been appointed to judge each individual. He does clue us in by telling us "he who is not with me is against me" and that he and his Father Jehovah are in complete agreement and purpose, which would seem to indicate that we must pay close attention to what God instructs us in the Bible. That is many things among which His people are to be "no part of this world" not supporting mankind’s failed system of self-rule/politics on any level. And to keep our worship of Him clean, without spot, abstaining from rituals and festivals originally designed for pagan gods. And to love those who make themselves enemies of you and to do to them what you would want them to do to you. I have chosen this love and true Christians do not get involved in the politics of this world in any way shape or form. They love and obey God's direction found in His Word the Bible and tell everyone around them about the coming Kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven so that everyone will have made a choice before the last day of human self-rule. I beg you to please study the Bible and the example of Jesus and do not judge Christianity by observing hypocrites (Matthew 7:21-23) self-rule is what the first humans chose (Romans 5:12) God's Kingdom is what He has patiently and lovingly waited for 6,000 years for humans to conclude they need (2 Peter 3:9) Before those who choose self-rule finish their greedy destruction of the planet with their politics (James 4:4; Revelation 11:18) the Almighty Father will restore what was His original intention for mankind and the earth to those who reject self-rule and choose His government (Daniel 2:44) 6,000 years of evidence of human self-rule going from bad to worse is the first choice; after 6,000 years we are on the brink of irreversibly destroying the natural environment and/or global nuclear war triggered by some radical hate-monger claiming to believe in God. If you choose politics/self-rule then that’s your destination; I.e. a “return to the dust from which you were made” The alternative choice is God's global government wherein He has promised to restore the original purpose for the earth and mankind to those who want a world of peace and love without divisions. agape!

David, the best thing you can do is to dedicate yourself to knowing and doing God's will. As the saying goes, everything else is gravy. I am a non-denominational Christian.

Jhn 6:35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. and Jhn 21:17 Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep. No matter how much money is spent on feeding the poor, wicked men will always try to exploit them. Therefore, it’s best to feed people with spiritual food so they will never be hungry again when Jesus establishes his kingdom on Earth. Rev 7:16 “They shall hunger no more, neither thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any scorching heat. Mat 6:10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as [it is] in heaven.

Serve the Almighty God with your time, treasure, and talent. This is from you own abilities. Each person has a different ability. Each person has time that they can spend doing the work of God Almighty. We raise our families and rejoice in our work. Each of us have a different amount of money such as a poor widow may have but a penny but gives it from her heart or a wealthy man may have a great deal of money but give small portion. Give from the heart but do not let your family suffer as a result - God gave us brains to use. Read - Ecclesiastes (Qoh) it is short but full of contemplations about our time in the flesh.

there's a really good book called 'The Dream Giver' and it talks about direction in ones life. The best way to change the world is to not try and change the world but to change the life of just one person every moment. You can't possibly change the world but if you help change even just one life it will have rippling effects. Reminds me of a story about his little boy who was walking on a beach and came across hundreds of starfish that had washed up on shore and he was picking them up 1 by 1 and throwing them back into the ocean....this man came by and said to the boy 'you don't honestly imagine you are making a difference do you' and the little boy picked up another starfish and threw it into the ocean and said 'I made a difference to that one' So live impeccably and try to bring goodness to at least one person and in the trying you might just bring goodness to many.

That's doubtful, they'd be required to touch adult women and I don't think that they'd care for that.

Between bacha bazi boys and the koran, pedastery is openly embraced in islam, but punished in Catholicism, so? since the church was slow to admit to the crimes, but did eventually purge those priests, interviewed future ones to disallow homosexuals and pedophiles, and paid reparations...so why doesn't islam get the same scrutiny when it openly embraces pedophilia and pedastery???? are there such things as Roman Catholic Ninjas/Vatican Ninjas

are there such things as Roman Catholic Ninjas/Vatican Ninjas?
hi i was wondering, i kno that not only is martial arts popular in the asian culture, but cant it be popular in the Roman Catholic Faith as well? Does the Pope even have any "Vatican" Ninjas located in his Holy Papal City that he hires for self defense or something like that? i mean i kno he's got swiss guards, but dont they need martial arts as well? Is there anyone out there, (including on the online universe), who is a Roman Catholic Ninja, (and they dont have to work for the Vatican either, they can just be Catholic and yet just be a ninja. And this is the stupidest question of them all, but is there a group where you can learn how to be a Catholic Ninja that i can join (the answer is obviously going to be no, lol but a question must always be asked whether it's stupid or not).

I wonder how much it would pay to be the popes personal ninja. I mean imagine the health benefits of that job!

Lol, I guess it's possible. There was a Jewish gangster, have you ever seen the movie the Hebrew Hammer? Freakin hilarious.
3 :
If you mean: "Does the Pope have well trained body guards?" The answer is Yes. "Are they trained in martial Arts?" Probably, but I don't know why they would have to be trained in Oriental Martial Arts, there are many types of unarmed combat from many places in the world.

I have seen a few before. It's quite different.

Are There Devil's In The Vatican

Are There Devil's In The Vatican?
Sex abuse scandals in the Roman Catholic Church are proof that that "the Devil is at work inside the Vatican", according to the Holy See's chief exorcist. Father Gabriele Amorth, 85, who has been the Vatican's chief exorcist for 25 years and says he has dealt with 70,000 cases of demonic possession, said that the consequences of satanic infiltration included power struggles at the Vatican as well as "cardinals who do not believe in Jesus, and bishops who are linked to the Demon". He added: "When one speaks of 'the smoke of Satan' [a phrase coined by Pope Paul VI in 1972] in the holy rooms, it is all true – including these latest stories of violence and paedophilia." He claimed that another example of satanic behaviour was the Vatican "cover-up" over the deaths in 1998 of Alois Estermann, the then commander of the Swiss Guard, his wife and Corporal Cedric Tornay, a Swiss Guard, who were all found shot dead. "They covered up everything immediately," he said. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/comment/faith/article7056689.ece

Satan's chief target is the Catholic Church because it is the true Church that Jesus founded. Satan attacks the Church in many ways, through lies, scandals, slander, temptation of its priests and infiltration by its enemies who seek to damage it from within. Another example of Satan working against the Church is in the way the popular media highlights and emphasises any problems to do with the Catholic Church far more than they do with any other denomination or religion.

lot of good clergy too... http://www.catholicnetlinks.com/Catholic%20Priests%20Links.htm

Satan infiltrated the church long time ago according to the prophecies of Daniel and Revelation. Satan perverted the gospel of Christ and introduced pagan festivals into the church. The beast (Roman Catholic Church) was given authority from the dragon (satan). Read Revelation 13. Read Revelation 17. Those who say the Roman Catholic Church is the true church, please wake up from your sleep. Open you spiritual eyes and see the paganism inside the church, it is not from Jesus Christ. Of course, the Catholic apologists will continue to defend and decieve people but to those who love god, please come out of Babylon and all the false churches that keep man made traditions. Revelation 18:4 - Come out of her my people...
